Tech expert confirms voting machines connected to internet during Ga. senate subcommittee on elections

https://www.oann.com/tech-expert-confirms-voting-machines-connected-to-internet-during-ga-senate-subcommittee-on-elections/

Witnesses outlined extensive evidence of ballot fraud in Georgia while the state’s Senate Subcommittee on Elections held a hearing on voting machine irregularities.

During the hearing, a tech expert looking into connected devices in Fulton County, Jovan Pulitzer, made a major announcement about his team’s findings.

Pulitzer went on to say when the devices are connected to the internet, people can easily siphon and modify data, including votes in real time as it comes into the system.

This new information on compromised voting machines comes as President Trump continues to slam Georgia’s governor and secretary of state for not taking action against voter fraud.

Rep. Kinzinger: 100-Plus GOP Lawmakers Will Oppose Accepting Election Results Next Week

https://www.newsmax.com/politics/gop-kinzinger-trump-election/2020/12/30/id/1003710/

Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., thinks “upwards of” 100 GOP lawmakers will vote to not accept Joe Biden’s victory when Congress convenes on Jan. 6 to count the Electoral College votes.

“I hope I’m wrong. I’m guessing it will be upwards of 100,” Kinzinger told Charlie Sykes Wednesday during an appearance on “The Bulwark Podcast.”

“I think you’re going to have some people that come out and take a strong stand but man, I hope I’m wrong. I’m not going to be surprised if it approaches three figures.”

Kinzinger, one of the few Republicans to speak out against the conspiracy theories President Donald Trump embraces surrounding the election, told Sykes that he’s “over the undermining of democracy and frankly, the massive damage that’s being done with this.

“It is a scam,” he said of the effort to get the election reversed, specifically calling out Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama, the pair of House Republicans leading the Jan. 6 effort.

“It is going to disappoint the people that believe this election was stolen, that think this is an opportunity to change it. But instead of being disappointed in the people that led them on this grifting scam, they’re going to somehow try to convince these people that it was the RINO’s in Congress or something like that and not the Constitution that prevents this from happening in the first place.

"All they’re doing is getting a ton of followers, raising a ton of money, and they’re taking people that are hurting right now during a pandemic and taking their money from them, not because they’re telling them the truth but because they’re giving them false hope,” he added.

Mud-slinging campaign?

Jon Ossoff: Sen. Loeffler Campaigning With 'Klansman'

https://www.newsmax.com/politics/jon-ossoff-kelly-loeffler-raphael-warnock-georgia/2020/12/30/id/1003718/

video

Democrat Senate hopeful Jon Ossoff on Wednesday accused Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., of "campaigning with a Klansman."

Ossoff's comments stem from a photo showing Loeffler with Chester Doles, a reported former Ku Klux Klan leader once imprisoned for beating a Black man. The photo was taken at a campaign event earlier this month.

Ossoff is opposing Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Loeffler faces Rev. Raphael Warnock in two Jan. 5 runoffs that will decide which party will control the Senate majority.

Loeffler this week has attacked her opponent following a report of alleged abuse at a camp the reverend oversaw in Maryland. The senator said the accusations were "disqualifying" for Warnock, per The Hill.

When asked by Fox News how much the allegations against Warnock could hurt the two Democrats in the runoffs, Ossoff lashed back at Loeffler.

"None whatsoever," Ossoff said. "Rev. Warnock addressed this issue a year ago, and here's the bottom line: Kelly Loeffler has been campaigning with a Klansman.

"She is stooping to these vicious personal attacks to distract from the fact that she's been campaigning with a former member of the Ku Klux Klan. I mean we deserve better than that here in Georgia."

According to The Associated Press, Loeffler did not know who Doles was when the photo was taken in Dawsonville, Georgia.

"Kelly had no idea who that was, and if she had, she would have kicked him out immediately because we condemn in the most vociferous terms everything that he stands for," campaign spokesman Stephen Lawson said.

Trump to Declassify Intel China Paid for Attacks on US Soldiers

https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/bounties-intelligence-declassify-troops/2020/12/30/id/1003716/

President Donald Trump will be declassifying U.S. intelligence findings that China paid non-state actors in Afghanistan to attack American soldiers, Axios reported.

The findings were briefed to Trump on Dec. 17, two senior administration officials told Axios.

Trump has sought to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and increase maximum pressure campaigns on China before he would leave office next month.

While China has maintained a mostly quiet diplomatic role in Afghanistan affairs, Axios has reported China has invited Taliban officials to Beijing for peace talks, but "Chinese-made weapons and financing have at times also flowed into the conflict there," according to the report.

Foreign affairs expert Andrew Small called it "incongruous" for China to engage in a bounty scheme, an allegation previously lobbed at Russia. Afghanistan is "one of the extremely rare areas where the U.S. and China still have a willingness to work together on an area of importance," Small told Axios.

"They know the drawdown is taking place," he added to Axios. "We're not in the context where anything else needs to happen to U.S. troops in Afghanistan. There is no reason to create additional pressure on U.S. forces."

Trump has not brought up the Chinese bounties in Afghanistan with China President Xi Jinping, per the report.

Trump was also rebuked in the media and by Democrats for not pressing Russia's Vladimir Putin on alleged bounties schemes in written intelligence reports. Trump discredited that intelligence as unverified.

Democrat Joe Biden has access to the daily intelligence briefing, so he might potentially know of the reports of Chinese bounties on American troops, too, Axios noted.

Census Bureau to Miss Deadline, Jeopardizing Trump Plan

https://www.newsmax.com/politics/2020-census/2020/12/30/id/1003685/

The Census Bureau plans to announce it will miss a year-end deadline for handing in numbers used for divvying up congressional seats.

That delay could undermine President Donald Trump’s efforts to exclude people in the country illegally from the count if the figures aren’t turned in before President-elect Joe Biden takes office.

It will be the first time that the Dec. 31 target date is missed since the deadline was implemented more than four decades ago by Congress.

Internal documents obtained earlier this month by a House committee show that Census Bureau officials don’t see the apportionment numbers being ready until days after Biden is inaugurated on Jan. 20.

Once in office, Biden could rescind Trump’s presidential memorandum directing the Census Bureau to exclude people in the country illegally from numbers used for divvying up congressional seats among the states.

An influential GOP adviser had advocated excluding them from the apportionment process, to the advantage of Republicans and non-Hispanic whites.

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler to Newsmax TV: What Are Democrats Afraid Of?

https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/reschenthaler-stimulus-mcconnell-electionfraud/2020/12/30/id/1003701/

video

Democrats refusing to investigate the presidential election and the repeal of Section 230 could be afraid of the results, according to Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, R-Pa., on Newsmax TV.

Reschenthaler was asked about Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's proposal of tying an increase of stimulus relief payments (to $2,000) to the formation of a commission to investigate the 2020 election and a call to repeal big-tech liability protections in Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

"What are the Democrats hiding if they don't want the election to be investigated?" Reschenthaler told host Joe Pinion on Wednesday’s The Chris Salcedo Show.

"And as far as 230 goes, why are they standing up for the big-tech tyrants? Just go ahead and have a vote. Because if you want to debate 230, we can have a debate on 230. I think the American people will agree somebody has to rein in these big-tech tyrants."

While McConnell is catching heat in many circles for his proposal, Reschenthaler blamed Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for "dragging her feet" on stimulus relief during the summer to try and help "blue states."

McConnell's proposal came after President Donald Trump signed the coronavirus relief bill on Sunday night.

When sent the original COVID-19 economic stimulus bill, the president declined to sign without major changes. He wanted individual relief checks boosted from $600 to $2,000.

Unrelated to COVID, President Trump wanted a repeal of Section 230, which protects social media platforms from being sued over third-party content. He also wanted inquiries into his claims of election fraud, which have been been pressed without success in court and at the legislative level for weeks since the Nov. 3 election outcome favored opponent Joe Biden.

The Congressman supports the majority leader's desire to tie an election investigation with the stimulus payments.

"I think that what we need moving forward and not just with this election but elections in the future, we need to make sure that every single voice is heard," Reschenthaler said. "We need to make sure that every legal vote is counted. And we have to make sure every illegal vote is set aside.

"I'm not convinced this has happened in this election. So we need to focus on that."

GOP Rep. Kinzinger Mocks Sen. Hawley for Election Challenge

https://www.newsmax.com/us/kinzinger-hawley-trump/2020/12/30/id/1003688/

Representative Adam Kinzinger mocked fellow Republican Josh Hawley on Wednesday by speculating what went through the Missouri senator’s mind before declaring his intention to challenge the 2020 election results in Congress, Mediaite reported.

Hawley stated that he will object during the Electoral College certification process on January 6, which will help to “highlight the failure of some states, including notably Pennsylvania, to follow their own election laws as well as the unprecedented interference of Big Tech monopolies in the election.”

Kinzinger, who has been criticizing fellow Republicans for backing President Donald Trump’s efforts to discredit the election, posted a tweet showing his disgust.

“Internal monologue,” he wrote “I want to be President so I decided to try to get POTUS tweet saying I’m great even though I know this isn’t going anywhere, but hey… I’ll blame someone else when it fails.”

The Illinois representative told CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday that continued efforts by Trump and some House Republicans to overturn the election of President-elect Joe Biden is “a scam.”

He emphasized the absurdity “to explain to people that somehow Congress can overthrow the certified results of every state, that we can change an election outcome, when there was not a single court case that had any legs."

He stressed that "even if you believe that somehow the courts were inept in this whole process, if somehow you believe that this whole election was stolen, the reality is, there is no impetus to overthrow an election, even if you want to, and there's no ability to overthrow an election, even if you want to.”
