sorry to disagree, but i have to question doing what?
this anon spent lifetime in academic and industrial research. pick one discipline, chem, phys, bio… do you have any idea how many research papers are published EVERY MONTH, just in one field? weil into the tens of thousands. now ask yourself, how could more that 1-2% have ANY significance? i have access to scifinder and use it regularly. when you search for papers on any topic, the list it generates includes the number of times each paper was cited by other researchers. 90+% of them have a ZERO in that column. the papers have NEVER been cited by another researcher. that's how inconsequential MOST research publications are.
