The mayor celebrated the end of 2020 and welcomed a new year, which he said would begin with vaccinating 1 million New Yorkers in January. New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi talked about how the city planned to distribute vaccines to the first priority group, which included long-term care residents and frontline health care workers.
