It's simpler than that: "I'm exempt." If a person wants to discuss it further, I'm prepared to do so. But until they open the conversation, "I'm exempt" is all I say.
I'm in the mid-south. You'd be surprised how many "exempt" people there are here. ;-)
I just came back from Little Caesars. All the employees were wearing masks. Except for the guy on the front counter, none of them were wearing it over their noses. Even the employees in Little Caesars have got this shit figured out. It's the pseudo intellectuals like Eichenwald who can't wrap their head around the idea that they are being lied to.
