daughteranon is a health care worker in the covid hall of a residential facility and has had to deal with 10s of deaths and angst of family members and patients deteriorating over the course of the pandemic because of isolation. she works in hell everyday. she and her co-workers did one when it first started making the rounds. it got them out of their pain for a bit, and gave them a few laughs for a day. I don't begrudge any of them who did it for that reason.
I try to avoid giving money to Walmart, but I never wear a mask there, never have. Who cares if they alert? They already have your image as soon as you walk in the door regardless.
