GO FIGURE:

Seven elected officials from Southwest Virginia sent a letter to Gov. Ralph Northam Friday to request that he reopen this part of the Commonwealth.

Delegates Terry Kilgore, Will Morefield, William Wampler III, Israel O'Quinn, Jeff Campbell, and Senators Ben Chafin and Todd Pillion sent Northam the letter.

The joint letter asks Northam to consider the actions that governors in Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia have recently taken.
