I spent several summers in Guatemala. There is a lot of so-called Christianity mixed with voodoo/Satanism/black magic, etc.
There are Catholic churches with altars down the center aisles & outside on the steps. Really creepy. And feels very dark. Literally, you can feel it. They sacrifice small animals & chickens on the steps outside. Liquor, food, flower sacrifices inside.
