Pilots wearing masks.

Someone needs to do a cat scan study of blood levels in the brain both with and without a mask. We already know that wearing a mask lowers the blood oxygen level, so surely this could effect a pilot's ability to make good decisions.

>That's not how any of that works

Airplanes are typically pressurized to 8,000' cabin altitude. Around 14,000' is where hypoxia starts to set in for most people. This is due to the lower amounts of oxygen available in the less dense air to our bodies. I can definitely see where wearing a mask could aggravate that and cause the onset of hypoxia at a lower altitude than normal.
