Is there anything you want from them that you are willing to improve their outcome in exchange for?

We trust Q, but why would he address them and ask if they trust. They know he's taking them down.

I think I know what is going on here. You are in a Chinese stand off with the Cabal regarding the texts that reveal the assassination plot.
The foreign intelligence service that communicated with them was either the MI6 or Mossad, my money is on MI6.
They are threatening to hit the internet kill switch if you release the texts. You have told them you will not release the texts for the time being if they take their finger off the switch.

How much longer are you willing to hold on to the assassination plot evidence. The state governments have a right to know about this. The states elect the president through the electoral college, not the people. If they planned an assassination with a foreign power, the state governments need to decide if these are legitimate federal agencies that they want in their states any more. At minimum they have to be investigated.
