I think it takes any offense out of Trump's hands. He'll be told to rein his legal team in wait for the conclusion of the audit, and to not obstruct it.
If the audit 'verdict' comes in that election was clean (surprise surprise), POTUS is fucked with only 4 days until inauguration.
Antone besides me out there who doesn't trust a single fucking thing congress or the court says or does? Who in their right mind would put their fate in any process they devise?
We're making progress lately, if it ain't broke, don't let congress 'fix' it. There's a reason this 'obviously sound' suggestion of an audit wasn't made earlier.
