Just got back from the rally in MI. Had a similar experience standing outside in the cold with my wife and young kid watching the speech with the thousands of other patriots, then hiking miles back to the car.
Really gives you a different perspective after spending months grumbling on the internet, you realize the size of this movement and how many real people are invested in it and hoping in it to improve their lives and their children's lives. Seeing everyone pray together, say the pledge together, sing the anthem together….it was really something.
I'd recommend any anon who has the chance, go, even to only stand outside. It was a high energy shot and real kick in the ass.
As a bonus, after we left and were trying to get home, we pulled up to a major road only to find it blocked with a few dozen people standing alongside some LEO.
I hopped out and got to see POTUS himself drive past and wave to us as the motorcade passed by, maybe 20 feet from me.
THANK YOU Trump for making the trip out here, it meant a great deal to a lot of people.
Now the MOAB next week will taste even sweeter.
