It's the Shadow Government/Continuity of Government that is the real threat. Dems will go to any length necessary to invoke C of G powers.

>Women ARE obsessive narcissists
Not true; there still remain a good few women who understand that modesty is the greatest female adornment. And modesty excludes vanity which is what the whole selfie obsession is based on.
Strikes me that women have a long way to go to undo the terrible harm inflicted on them by pornography which demeans and objectifies them and reduces them to little more than body geometry. Oh to return to a time when a woman's beauty was measured per Scripture.
1 Peter 3:3-4 “Do not let your adorning be external – the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear – but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.”
>Feel sorry for quadriplegics instead -
I would never be so patronising.
I have a daughter who was born normal but brain-damaged when she was 7 months old. She's now in her mid twenties and her inner spiritual beauty shines through her multiple physical disabilities such that everyone who meets here comments about her lovliness. I have been more blessed in this one child than all my other physically able children. Don't ever dismiss disabled people as in need of our pity. Save that for the evil wretches who have been lured by Satan to become monstrous effigies of humanity and against whom we now fight.
>Don't fool yourself, anon - there was never a time when women were not competing for looks.
I agree with a lot of what you say, anon, except for the above.
As a child of the 50s I remember a time when placing too much emphasis on external appearances was very much frowned upon and positively discouraged. Conversely, the development of virtues was encouraged above all else. Maybe I lived in very sheltered circumstances but I assure you that even the primary school I attended as a six year old was that concerned about instilling virtues that the classes, instead of say, being numbered 1 - 10 were all named after specific virtues - Courage, Truth, Loyalty etc.
>I do not understand why you keep saying you should respect old people in particular.
It starts with honouring your parents who are older than you. When you have children of your own, when they see how you honour your parents they will, in turn, honour you. Conversely, if your children see you dishonouring your parents, that's exactly how they will treat you. Enlightened self-interest apart from anything else. Keeps the family, as the bedrock of society, ticking over.
The law should deal with abusive parents in a country that upholds the laws of God. It is the choice of the child of abusive parents if he can find it in his heart to forgive them, and from there to honour them for the life they have given him. But Jesus instructs us in the Lord's Prayer (and in the parable of the wicked servant) to pray the Father forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us. So, again, there's an enlightened self-interest in forgiving others as we have been forgiven.
>God gives you life.

>Your parents create the vehicle.
God created human life ONCE when He created Adam. All life thereafter is transmitted via procreation when a living sperm fertilises a living ovum.
The second form of human life (Jesus Christ) was begotten not created.
