I said I think this leak came from the WH and not the GA SOS. The recording sounds "hollow" from everyone except Mark Meadows – I think it was recorded on his office phone.
I think they are going to drop something factual tomorrow which contradicts the SOS claims. If they have solid evidence on one or more of the claims that the SOS waved off today, that will cut him off at the knees in terms of his defense and certification of the GA outcome.
None of this information was new, as Raffensperger covered the fact that his office had responded to the specific issues to the GA House, GA Senate, and GOP members of Congress. So the WH knew everything the SOS was going to say. Now they have him on tape.
There was clearly a motivation for covering the specific subjects and having that call yesterday. You could hear in the exchanges that the Pres. was being directed on his end probably with written cues to refer to specific factual claims.
Both Georgia and DC are "one party" consent jurisdictions.
Nothing illegal about the taping even if the other side didn't know.
