No, he's right. Too many people think that this coming war is going to be eternally decisive…it won't be. It will give us fresh air and the knowledge to, hopefully, put into place laws and sentries (through education of our children) to spot future evil/greed/selfishness and prevent it from gaining any appreciable power, but it will never be eliminated. Psychology and the allure of power will never end.

Men's minds cannot comprehend Eternity..at least not an eternity of motion and continued existence. They blank out on concepts like "happy for eternity" or "having everything you ever need", or the even more nebulous concept of "dwelling in god's presence/love". The Universe and Eternity are cyclical, and everything that is possible has happened an infinite number of times and will happen an infinite number more times. That is why this victory is NOT guaranteed. An eternal number of times we have, and will again, fail and be enslaved.
