I think they would use a gun for first timers. Most people would consider killing an innocent person to be a difficult act, and I'd have to think pulling a trigger is quicker and requires less thought than stabbing somebody to death.
Just my guess.
Sauce is important, but for a lawyer who SPECIALIZES in defamation law to make these accusations, it typically means they have something that backs up said accusations.
