Anons, I have serious questions

Currently doing a digg on some of the Chief Medical Officers in Canada.

One of these individuals has family roots in being a Quaker and works with Gideons International.

In the past I've done light research on Quakers but it seems that they were involved in colonizing things. Is that right?

I just need to know if Gideons and Quaker connections should be red flags. Not much on Gideons on qresear.ch and mixed information on Quakers there.
