Yaacov Apelbaum at the Illustrated Primer today provides some more shocking findings hidden on Hunter’s laptop.

Hidden between tens of thousands of emails, IMs, documents, videos, sound recordings, and encrypted files is a collection of communications between Hunter Biden and one JiaQi.

JiaQi, AKA JaiQi Bao, AKA Jiaqi Wang, AKA Jiaqi Wang Bao, AKA Wang Bao Jiaqi, AKA Qinping Bao, AKA TianTian Bo, was Ye Jianming’s US based assistant/advisor. If you don’t recall the cast of characters in this Chinese finger puzzle, Ye Jianming, was the chairman of the China Huaxin energy conglomerate and Hunter’s and Jim Biden’s business partner.

Ye Jianming and his US based staff worked closely with Chinese intelligence which controlled large parts of the strategy, funding, and overseas operations of CEFC and another of the Biden’s Chinese joint ventures named Bohai Harvest RST (BHR).

Following traditional honeypot tactics, JiaQi was used to sweeten Hunter’s already saccharin laced business engagement with CEFC. She kept an eye on Hunter from her base in NYC and acted as a cutout between the overseas Chinese officials and the Bidens. In one alluring communication JiaQi wrote:

“…regarding the delivery of your doggie chain and holiday/birthday package. I safe kept your belonging for you as promised. I don’t think it is appropriate to drop off to a third party given the risk of miscommunication as happened in the past. How about I will either deliver it to you in person at your convenience or FedEx to a designated address where you can receive it directly?”

A video posted to YouTube by activist group ShutdownDC showed several protesters gathered outside Hawley's house, with at least one using a bullhorn to rant in the street. The group later issued a statement saying they approached Hawley's front door and placed a copy of the constitution on it - which was not seen on the recording.

Iran asks Interpol to help arrest Trump and 47 other US officials over 2020 killing of General Soleimani – judiciary spokesman

Iran has requested that Interpol issue a ‘Red Notice’ for Donald Trump and 47 other officials, over their “role” in the assassination of Qassem Soleimani last January, said judiciary spokesman Gholam Hossein Esmaeili.

“The request to issue a ‘Red Notice’ for 48 people involved in the assassination of Martyr Soleimani, including the US President, as well as commanders and officials at the Pentagon, and forces in the region, was handed over to Interpol,” said Esmaeili at a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday. “The Islamic Republic of Iran is very seriously following up on pursuing and punishing those who ordered and executed this crime,” he added.

According to the International Criminal Police Organization, its ‘Red Notice’ is a “request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action.” Interpol notes that it is not an arrest warrant.

Iranian Minister of Intelligence Mahmoud Alavi also spoke on the issue on Tuesday, saying that Iran had prepared 1,000 pages of documents to refer to the International Criminal Court to prove that state terrorism had been used against General Soleimani. He also pledged “tough revenge at the proper time.”

Iran’s top general, Qassem Soleimani, was killed in a US drone strike on January 3, 2020, while visiting Baghdad. Agnes Callamard, the United Nations’ special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, described the assassination as “unlawful” and a “nail in the coffin of international law,” when she took to Twitter on the anniversary of the assassination.

Iran already requested Interpol’s help in arresting Donald Trump and 35 other officials on “murder and terrorism charges” in June last year. However, Interpol rejected the request, citing its constitution as prohibiting it from undertaking “any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious, or racial character.”

Senior Iranian officials, including President Hassan Rouhani, have repeatedly pledged to avenge the assassination of General Soleimani.

Donald Trump is set to leave office on January 20, and Iran has expressed the hope that the end of his presidency might mean he could be brought to justice.

Iran Demands South Korea Unfreeze $7BN In Assets While It Detains Tanker Crew

South Korea has summoned the Iranian ambassador to condemn the Monday seizure of a South Korean-flagged chemical tanker and its crew in the Persian Gulf. Seoul is demanding its immediate release and has dispatched a delegation to Iran to negotiate, following the military already sending an anti-piracy unit to the region.

Iran ostensibly offered the reason for the MT Hankuk Chemi's detention and "inspection" as environmental violations - a concocted reason it has used in past tanker detentions. The 20-member crew is now said to be in Iranian custody.

However, Iran is now denying that it's holding the mostly South Korean crew as hostages after the IRGC Navy diverted the vessel near the Strait of Hormuz. This despite Iranian state media publishing footage of IRGC commandos preparing to board the vessel.

As we noted earlier, at the same moment the tanker seizure made international headlines Monday, Iran pressed Seoul over the some $7 billion in assets frozen in South Korean banks due to US-led sanctions.

Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei appeared to confirm the drastic action was linked to the asset seizure, telling a press conference on Tuesday that, "We’ve become used to such allegations," while crucially adding:

"But if there is any hostage-taking, it is Korea’s government that is holding $7 billion, which belongs to us, hostage on baseless grounds."

Also looming large in the background is that Joe Biden enters the White House in two weeks.

Much of this aggressive maneuvering, especially the Monday declaration by the Islamic Republic to start enriching uranium up to 20% - which puts the country a huge step closer to nuclear grade levels - appears toward gaining leverage going into renewed talks with the US about restoring the terms of the JCPOA nuclear deal, which Biden has vowed to put back into place.

Former Goldman Exec, Trump Advisor Gary Cohn Joins IBM As Vice Chairman

Gary Cohn, the onetime No. 2 at Goldman Sachs who left the vampire squid (and cashed out hundreds of millions in performance-based incentives, tax free) back in 2017 for what turned out to be a brief, but tumultuous, stint in the Trump Administration, is returning to the boardroom and the c-suite.

After launching a SPAC, Cohn is headed to IBM, where he will serve as vice chairman and a member of the executive leadership team.

Cohn recently made headlines for refusing to return some $10MM in compensation paid out by Goldman Sachs. Cohn was the lone executive among a group of current and former Goldman leaders who stiffed the bank, which tried to claw back the bonus money as a kind of penance for Goldman's involvement in the 1MDB scandal.

Then again, hiring Cohn makes sense in at least one respect. As Big Blue scrambles to open up new markets and business lines, perhaps CEO Arvind Krishna is bringing Cohn on to lead efforts to sell quantum computing services to Wall Street.

'Chilling Big Tech censorship': YouTube accused of terminating TalkRADIO channel, allegedly for airing views of lockdown skeptics

Google's video platform YouTube has been accused of terminating the popular British TalkRADIO show for hosting figures that were skeptical of coronavirus lockdown just hours after the UK entered a new, stricter lockdown.

The official TalkRADIO channel – which had 250,000 subscribers – was deleted on Tuesday and, currently, it is not known why.

British political tabloid blog Guido Fawkes theorized that the channel had been deleted because of its history of airing views that are skeptical of government coronavirus lockdowns amid the pandemic.

YouTube's removal of the channel took place just hours after UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that England would be put under an even stricter lockdown from Monday, in an effort to stop the spread of the virus.

YouTube's guidelines as of last year threaten to ban any account that "spreads medical misinformation that contradicts local health authorities' or the World Health Organization's (WHO) medical information about COVID-19," and "disputes the efficacy of local health authorities' or WHO's guidance on physical distancing or self-isolation measures."

The reason behind the channel's removal has not been confirmed, however, and TalkRADIO has yet to issue an official statement.

In response to the list of YouTube's coronavirus rules that TalkRADIO might have broken, host Julia Hartley-Brewer declared, "No one on TalkRadio has said ANY of those things. We simply challenge the evidence that lockdowns are a proportionate response to the Covid virus. It's called free speech."

Sudden change of heart: NYSE backpedals on delisting Chinese telecom giants

In a sudden reversal, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) said it will no longer delist China's three largest state-owned telecommunications corporations allegedly linked to the Chinese military.

In a statement, the world's biggest stock exchange said it dropped the plans after “further consultation with relevant regulatory authorities in connection with Office of Foreign Assets Control.”

The announcement comes four days after the NYSE said it would remove the shares of China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom Hong Kong that had been present on the US market for nearly two decades.

The US exchange had planned to delist all three companies as early as this week to comply with a US executive order banning investments in enterprises owned and controlled by the Chinese military.

Securities of all three firms shot up on the Hong Kong stock market after the latest announcement. China Unicom gained 8.5 percent, China Telecom rose by eight percent, while China Mobile jumped by seven percent.

The order, cited by the index provider and, was signed by US President Donald Trump in November. The document barred US investors from funding more than 30 Chinese firms it deemed “communist Chinese military companies.”
