Right-wing group run by Mike Pence's friend ran $25,000 of ads on Fox News at Mar-a-Lago to convince Donald Trump his VP is loyal before he oversees confirmation of Joe Biden's election victory on Wednesday

A conservative group led by an ally of Vice President Mike Pence ran $25,000 worth of ads on Fox News Channel in the Mar-a-Lago market to convince President Donald Trump that Pence remains loyal.

Pence is being put in a precarious position politically as he's supposed to preside over Wednesday's Congressional session that will eventually confirm the election victory of President-elect Joe Biden.

Pence, who long has had 2024 ambitions, has aides working out a way he can uphold his Constitutional duty, while not alienating Trump and his supporters.

The news site also reported that the Club for Growth had bought ads that ran on Fox during Trump's winter vacation in Palm Beach, Florida, that tried to give Pence a boost in the eyes of the president.

The spot, called 'Never,' blasted the Lincoln Project for running an ad that suggested Pence was 'backing away from [Trump's] trainwreck.'

'When Mike Pence is running away from you, you know it's over,' the Lincoln Project's ad said.

The Club for Growth ad said the Lincoln Project was 'never Trump' and 'never truth,' and blasted the Pence ad for being 'fake,' calling the vice president 'Trump's trusted partner for the last four years.'

'He's never stopped fighting for President Trump and he's not about to stop now, the ad continues. 'That's why these Lincoln Project frauds are attacking the vice president.'

'Dishonest, Never Trumpers lying to you because Mike Pence stays true,' the ad says. 'Always has, always will.'

The Club for Growth is run by former Indiana Rep. David McIntosh, who's a close friend of Pence.

Pence was Indiana's governor and a lawmaker for the state before becoming vice president.

McIntosh told Bloomberg the reason why Club for Growth ran the ad was so Trump understood Pence 'remained a good friend.'

Trump has become increasingly reliant on Pence's role in Wednesday's Congressional session to hold onto power.

However, the Constitution doesn't give Pence, in his role as president of the Senate, much more power than to 'open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted.'

Last week, Rep. Louie Gohmert and 'alternate' electors from Arizona and later Michigan tried to change that by suing Pence in federal court with the aim of expanding his powers to that he could choose to count the votes of pro-Trump electors over actual Electoral College electors during the session.

A federal appeals judge threw out the case on Saturday.

SEAL Team 6 Operator to Plead Guilty in Green Beret's Death

A member of the Navy's elite SEAL Team 6 has accepted a plea agreement in connection with an Army Green Beret's 2017 death, his lawyer said.

Chief Special Warfare Operator Anthony DeDolph, one of four special operators charged in the death of Army Staff Sgt. Logan Melgar, will plead guilty Jan. 14 to involuntary manslaughter, obstruction of justice and hazing, The Daily Beast reported Monday.

Phil Stackhouse, DeDolph's lawyer, declined to confirm the charges to which DeDolph may plead guilty, but said the SEAL entered an agreement "to resolve his pending charges."

"This agreement will end the contested charges, allowing … DeDolph to accept responsibility for those offenses he can, and mitigate most of the concerns over classified material present in the case," Stackhouse said.

DeDolph faces a general court-martial on Jan. 14, officials with Navy Region Mid-Atlantic announced Tuesday. The SEAL faces charges under the Uniform Code of Military Justice of felony murder; involuntary manslaughter; hazing; conspiracy to commit assault; conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice; burglary; and obstruction of justice, according to a news release.

If found guilty of felony murder, DeDolph could face life in federal prison without parole, reduction in rank to E-1, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and either a dishonorable or bad conduct discharge.

"The military justice system, like the civilian justice system, follows the principle of innocent until proven guilty," Navy officials said in the release.

Melgar, a 34-year-old Green Beret, died June 4, 2017, in Mali, where he lived with DeDolph and another SEAL, Chief Special Warfare Operator Adam Matthews. The SEALs and two Marine Raiders who lived nearby, Staff Sgt. Kevin Maxwell and Gunnery Sgt. Mario Madero-Rodriguez, were all charged in connection with Melgar's death.

DeDolph pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges in January 2020. Matthews and Maxwell both pleaded guilty to their roles in 2019. Matthews was sentenced to a year in prison and Maxwell to four years.

Madera-Rodriguez's general court-martial is scheduled for Feb. 1. He faces charges of felony murder; involuntary manslaughter; hazing; conspiracy to commit assault; conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice; burglary; and making false official statements.

Like DeDolph, if Madera-Rodriguez is found guilty of felony murder, he could face life in federal prison without parole, reduction in rank to E-1, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and either a dishonorable or bad conduct discharge.

Melgar died after the SEALs and Raiders allegedly burst into his room with a sledgehammer and put him in a chokehold. One Marine said they planned to restrain Melgar while a Malian security guard sexually assaulted him, The Washington Post reported in 2019.

Stackhouse previously denied those claims. Maxwell's civilian defense attorney called the incident a prank gone bad.

Georgia Becomes The First State To Allow Police To Sue People For Harassment

Police across the country are so upset by public harassment that one state will allow cops to sue people who they perceive as harassing them.

CBS46 described Georgia’s new ‘police protection law‘ as giving police more rights.

After a year of police reform protests, law enforcement not only wants to beat, pepper spray and tear gas protesters, now they want to protect them from community harassment!

According to Atlanta City council member Antonio Brown, this new law is a slap in the face to police reformers.

“I believe the new police protection legislation that governor Kemp signed into law is reactive and a complete slap in the face of all the community organizers, activist, local municipalities that have worked tirelessly, not just during the unrest we’ve seen over the last year but over the last decade, to bridge the divide between police and community,” Brown said.

The state of Georgia’s disturbing response to police reform protests goes far beyond a slap in the face to community organizers and activists.

The very name of House Bill 838 is offensive to liberty loving Americans’.

House Bill 838 or the “Bias Motivated Intimidation of First Responders Prosecution Act.” reads like a dystopian president Trump inspired anti-police reform law.

A person commits the offense of bias motivated intimidation when such person maliciously and with the specific intent to intimidate, harass, or terrorize another person because of that person’s actual or perceived employment as a first responder.

Police activists could be imprisoned for 5 years and fined $5,000.

Any person that violates subsection (b) of this Code section shall be guilty of the offense of bias motivated intimidation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment of not less than one nor more than five years, a fine of not more than $5,000.00, or both.

Last year, the NAACP called it the “Police Hate Crimes Bill.”

The bill creates enhanced penalties for people who target law enforcement and other first responders. It also includes a false misconduct provision that allows police officers to sue for false misconduct claims.

The Collapse Has Already Begun. Watch Out For China! — China Has A Plan And We are Not In It

The news that on Sunday China signed a massive free trade deal with fifteen Asia Pacific Nations confirms China is busy cutting a path forward even as much of the world is in economic turmoil due to covid-19. This is a major victory in that it encompasses almost one-third of all global economic activity. It also gives the impression the United States is being left out in the cold. The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, or RCEP, establishes the world’s largest trading block. It was signed virtually during the annual summit of the 10-nation Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Fox Setting Up the Stall

Again? Georgia Senate runoff winners may not be known tonight

The twin Senate contests, where the GOP Senate majority’s at stake, could go into overtime

It could be déjà vu in Georgia, as the state on Tuesday holds twin Senate runoff elections that will determine if the Republicans keep their majority in the chamber or if the Democrats control both houses of Congress as well as the White House.

Two months after the presidential election results in Georgia and a handful of other key battleground states went into overtime, with the races not called in some cases until four days after Election Day, there’s a good chance it could happen again in the runoff contests.

"We can expect a very, very, close election," veteran Georgia based GOP consultant Chip Lake told Fox News. "An election that might be so close that we might not know who won these races on Tuesday night. It could be a few days after that until all the votes are counted."

In the general election, 4.9 million people cast ballots, shattering the Peach State’s previous turnout record.

Fast forward two months and the state’s breaking a turnout record for runoff contests.

More than 3 million people, or two-fifths (40%) of the state’s registered voters, have already cast a ballot in the runoffs, either through early in-person voting or by absentee ballot. And anywhere from 800,000 to possibly over a million people will vote on Election Day.

"I anticipate there will be a high turnout," Gabriel Sterling , the voting systems implementation manager for the Georgia secretary of state's office, told reporters on Monday.

The heavy turnout both before and on Election Day is once again forming a perfect storm that could put Americans back in a familiar place – not knowing when they go to sleep on Tuesday night whether Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelley Loeffler won reelection or if Democratic challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock defeated the GOP incumbents.

The polls in Georgia are scheduled to close at 7 p.m. ET on Election Day, and that’s when ballot counting is allowed to begin. Absentee ballots must be received by the poll-closing time to be counted. There is an exception for military and overseas ballots. If they’re postmarked by Tuesday and received by Friday, they will be counted. And absentee voters have until Friday to fix problems with their ballots so their votes can be counted.

While absentee ballots received ahead of Election Day can’t be counted until the polls close, county election officials were allowed to begin processing those ballots in advance. That includes verifying signatures on the outer envelope of the ballot, opening the envelopes, and scanning the ballots.

We could see the leads in the twin Senate contests shift after the polls close and the counting begins – which is what happened in the state’s White House race between President Trump and President-elect Joe Biden.

Cruz to object to Arizona's Electoral College results Wednesday

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) will object to Arizona's Electoral College results Wednesday, making it the third state Senate Republicans are expected to challenge.

Cruz's planned challenge, confirmed to The Hill by a source familiar, is expected to be backed by several of the 10 GOP senators who signed on to a plan vowing to support objections to the election results.

Because Congress votes on Electoral College results alphabetically by state, Cruz's objection is expected to be one of the first and, according to the source, will focus on his request for a commission to review the presidential election rather than arguing for setting aside the state's election results.

At least two states besides Arizona are so far expected to see challenges from Senate Republicans to their Electoral College votes when Congress convenes its joint session to formally count the results.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), who like Cruz is viewed as a potential 2024 challenger, has pledged to challenge the results in Pennsylvania and hasn't ruled out trying to set aside the results in additional battleground states where President-elect Joe Biden defeated President Trump.

A separate source also told The Hill on Monday that Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) is likely to challenge Georgia, a traditionally red state where Biden defeated Trump. Loeffler's announcement that she would object to the Electoral College results comes as she is facing off against the Rev. Raphael Warnock in one of Georgia's two runoff elections on Tuesday that will determine which party controls the Senate majority.

Cruz's decision to object to Arizona, which was first reported by The Washington Post, comes after he and 10 other GOP senators released a letter over the weekend vowing to support challenges to the election results unless a commission was formed to conduct a 10-day audit.

"Congress should immediately appoint an Electoral Commission, with full investigatory and fact-finding authority, to conduct an emergency 10-day audit of the election returns in the disputed states. Once completed, individual states would evaluate the Commission’s findings and could convene a special legislative session to certify a change in their vote, if needed," they said in a joint statement.

Greece okays $1.68 billion defense deal with Israel

Defense Ministry says 20-year agreement will see Elbit Systems establish flight school for Greek air force, sell and upgrade training aircraft

The Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that the Greek government has approved a $1.68 billion agreement to purchase training aircraft from Israel and for an Israeli defense contractor to establish a flight school for Greece’s air force.

The deal, which still must be signed by the two countries’ defense ministries, will see Elbit Systems set up and operate a training school for the Hellenic Air Force. It also includes the sale of 10 Aermacchi M-346 aircraft, known in Israel as the Lavi, and for Elbit to upgrade and maintain Greece’s T-6 training planes.

The Defense Ministry said the agreement, which it called “the largest defense procurement agreement between the two countries to date,” was for 20 years. It didn’t specify when the deal would be inked, but said the Greek government’s decision “enables the parties to move forward in the negotiations” before the signing.

“This agreement reflects the excellent and developing relations we have with Greece. It is a long-term partnership that will serve the interests of both Israel and Greece, create hundreds of jobs in both countries, and promote stability in the Mediterranean,” Defense Minister Benny Gantz was quoted as saying in a statement.

Gantz said he spoke with his Greek counterpart, Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, by phone after the deal was approved, touting the growing defense ties between Jerusalem and Athens.

Election theater is cover for the global extermination agenda

The coronavirus bioweapon, forced lockdowns and dangerous covid-19 vaccines have all been rolled out for the same purpose: To carry out mass global genocide against humanity as part of an emergency depopulation order.

Election drama is merely part of the theatrical distraction from the much larger globalist agenda which targets all the masses — regardless of politics, race or gender — for terminal destruction.

The mRNA vaccine platform is described by Moderna as an “operating system” being installed in your body, upon which “software” in the form of mRNA is deployed and updated to produce “applications” which are proteins. This is all described on Moderna’s own web site.

The goal of installing this operating system in your body, of course, is so that globalist-linked corporations can exercise remote control over your physiology while claiming intellectual property ownership over your body’s cells.

In essence, all who take the mRNA vaccine are being branded like cattle and coerced into replicating patented mRNA strands at the cellular level, thus engaging in intellectual property theft, allowing vaccine corporations to claim ownership of your entire body.

The election situation has collapsed into chaos, with the 10-day emergency investigation commission now appearing to be yet another delay tactic to assuage patriots and Trump supporters all the way until January 20th, when Biden will be quietly sworn in (unless Trump and the patriots stop him first).

With the “Reclaiming a Superpower” report now published by a cyber warfare investigations team, it’s clear that literally every institution of government — the courts, SCOTUS, governors, congress, law enforcement, etc. — is completely corrupt and utterly unable to honestly examine the overwhelming evidence of election fraud that continues to emerge by the day.

There is no solution to corrupt government that can come from corrupt government itself.

It looks increasingly like the only real solution to all this will be an uprising of patriots who take down the entire corrupt system, most likely by force.

Here are the highlights of today’s Situation Update podcast for January 4th:

Why many people who take mRNA vaccines will be infertile or dead within 5 years.

Why mass vaccinations are a globalist attempt to kill off billions of people before they can stage a mass uprising against globalist control.

Exodus chapter 14, verse 15.

Zombie-looking Nancy Pelosi re-elected Creeper of the House.

Ric Grennell confirms Trump is in a “good position” to challenge the fraudulent electoral votes.

Lin Wood implies he may soon release damning evidence that exposes Chief Justice Roberts.

Peter Navarro confirms VP Pence can move the inauguration to a later date.

The 10-day investigations commission effort may be a clever ploy to disarm patriots and delay any uprising until Biden can be secretly sworn in.

The composition of the commission will tell us everything: If Roberts is on it, the commission will be nothing but a whitewash effort to bury all the evidence and hide the truth.

Jake Tapper slams any effort to look into vote fraud as a “bloodless coup,” claiming anyone who doesn’t blindly accept the Biden election fraud is a “traitor.” (Tapper spent the last four years questioning the 2016 election, FYI.)

High-ranking federal prosecutor in Georgia resigns, day after leaked Trump-Raffensperger call

On Monday a high-ranking federal prosecutor in Georgia appointed by President Donald Trump resigned from his post, not giving much information surrounding his departure after less than four years on the job.

In his Monday statement provided by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Attorney Byung J. “BJay” Pak did not give much of an explanation as to why he was suddenly leaving his post after such a period of time, or what his plans are for after this. He thanked Trump for “the greatest honor of my professional career,” serving over three years as the top federal law enforcement officer for the Northern District of Georgia, which contains the Atlanta metropolitan area.

“I have done my best to be thoughtful and consistent, and to provide justice for my fellow citizens in a fair, effective and efficient manner,” Pak said. “I am grateful to President Trump and the United States Senate for the opportunity to serve, and to former Attorneys General [Jeff] Sessions and [William] Barr for their leadership of the Department.”

Hailing originally from South Korea’s capital Seoul, Pak immigrated to the United States at the age of 9. From 2011 until his 2017 appointment by President Trump, he served as a GOP state representative in the Georgia House of Representatives.

On Monday at around 1 pm (Eastern Time), the online news site Talking Points Memo was the first to report on the memo from Pak released the same day in which the prosecutor cited “unforeseen circumstances” for his resignation.

TPM reports that Pak originally planned to remain on the job until President-elect Joe Biden‘s January 20 inauguration. Typically, incoming presidents replace U.S. attorneys appointed by previous administrations, just as with many other federal offices. Furthermore, U.S. attorneys normally serve out the entirety of their four-year term, making Pak’s departure odder.

Significantly, Pak’s resignation came a day after The Washington Post published a leaked phone call and its transcript it obtained between President Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R), as well as their respective teams. During the call, Trump urged Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to reverse the state’s election results, which went narrowly for Biden even after three recounts. Trump and Raffensperger have repeatedly clashed publicly about the president’s claims that widespread election fraud occurred.

“All I want to do is this,” Trump told the swing state’s elections chief. “I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state.”

The Associated Press reported Monday that Trump, when discussing investigations into his allegations of election fraud during the call, referred to a “never-Trumper U.S. attorney” in Georgia. Whether Trump was referring to Pak with this comment is uncertain.

The president’s actions during the call have been heavily criticized by politicians on both the left and the right, saying it was wrong for him to pressure a state elections official after the results have been certified.

A pair of House Democrats on Monday, backed by others, requested that FBI Director Christopher Wray launch a criminal investigation into the phone call to look into possible election interference on Trump’s part.

During a Monday interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Raffensperger did not rule out the prospect that the Fulton County district—where the president has alleged ballots were destroyed and voting machines meddled with—could potentially launch an investigation into the phone call too.

On Sunday, Raffensperger and Trump clashed on Twitter about the Fulton County allegations.

Julian Assange: Imminent Freedom

Monday was a long and tiring day, with the startlingly unexpected decision to block Julian Assange’s extradition. The judgement is in fact very concerning, in that it accepted all of the prosecution’s case on the right of the U.S. government to prosecute publishers worldwide of U.S. official secrets under the Espionage Act. The judge also stated specifically that the U.K. Extradition Act of 2003 deliberately permits extradition for political offences. These points need to be addressed. But for now, we are all delighted at the ultimate decision that extradition should be blocked.

The decision was based equally on two points; the appalling conditions in U.S. supermax prisons, and the effect of those conditions on Julian specifically given his history of depression. The media has concentrated on the mental health aspect, and given insufficient attention to the explicit condemnation of the inhumanity of the U.S. prison system.

Full speech following Julian's historic victory in court today. https://t.co/LkiSl38nqm

— Stella Moris #pardonAssange (@StellaMoris1) January 4, 2021

I was the only person physically present in the public gallery inside the court, having been nominated by John Shipton to represent the family, aside from two court officials. I am quite sure that I again noted magistrate Vanessa Baraitser have a catch in her throat when discussing the inhumane conditions in U.S. supermax prisons, the lack of human contact, and specifically the fact that inmates are kept in total isolation in a small cage, and are permitted one hour exercise a day in total isolation in another small cage. I noted her show emotion the same way when discussing the al-Masri torture evidence during the trial, and she seemed similarly affected here.

Julian looked well and alert; he showed no emotion at the judgement, but entered into earnest discussion with his lawyers. The U.S. government indicated they will probably appeal the verdict, and a bail hearing has been deferred until Wednesday to decide whether he will be released from Belmarsh pending the appeal – which court sources tell me is likely to be held in April in the High Court. I should be very surprised if Julian is not released on Wednesday pending the appeal. I shall now be staying here for that bail hearing.

Here is a brief video giving more detail.

Liar, Liar, Chemicals On Fire: OPCW Chief Dodges Syria Probe Questions, Refuses To Answer Them In Public Hearing

OPCW chief Fernando Arias was asked a series of direct questions at the United Nations in regard to the alleged cover-up of the Syria chemical weapons investigation.

Arias “somehow” managed to evade answering a single question that was asked.

The meeting took place on December 11th, 2020.

The entire meeting can be seen in the video above, and how Russian Ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzia bombards Arias with questions which he simply and plainly refuses to answer.

While refusing to answer any questions, the OPCW chief in turn shifted the blame, criticizing Syria for failing to declare a chemical weapons production facility and respond to 18 other issues.

Arias said, seven years after Syria joined the Chemical Weapons Convention in 2013, its initial chemical declaration has unresolved “gaps, inconsistencies, and discrepancies” and “still cannot be considered accurate and complete.”

He simply entirely blamed Syria, but didn’t say anything in regard to the questions posed regarding the OPCW’s inconsistencies.

He told the virtual meeting that one of the 19 outstanding issues is a chemical weapons production facility that President Bashar Assad’s government said was never used to produce weapons, but where the OPCW gathered material and samples indicating “that production and/or weaponization of chemical warfare nerve agents took place.”

Arias said the OPCW had requested Syria to declare the exact types and quantities of chemical agents at the site but got no response.

“In April 2020, an OPCW investigation blamed the Syrian air force for a series of chemical attacks using sarin and chlorine in late March 2017 on the central town of Latamneh. Arias said in late October that Syria failed to meet a 90-day deadline set in July to declare the weapons used in the attacks on Latamneh and to disclose its chemical stocks.”

What could it disclose when it has said from the get-go it had nothing of the sort? This is established by the fact that Nebenzia outlined, as stated in the UN’s report on the matter:

“The Russian Federation’s representative reminded the Council members that Syria joined OPCW, made its initial declaration of chemical weapons stockpiles and subsequently got rid of them — a fact confirmed by OPCW on numerous occasions. Such a development brought about hope that allegations of Damascus using chemical weapons against its own population have become a thing of the past. Gradually, things changed, he said. Western Council members consistently stepped up pressure on Damascus and made serious accusations against the Government mostly based on the video footage from social media and questionable accounts of witnesses on the ground relayed through abroad-based Syrian opposition and non-governmental organizations like “White Helmets”. There is no doubt that OPCW plays an important role, but it is widely used by Western colleagues to support claims that Syria has used chemical weapons on several occasions.”

Russia’s Nebenzia accused the OPCW of backing Western nations who tried “in vain” to topple Assad’s government with the help of opposition groups.

“And they maintain this anti-Syrian narrative despite all the discrepancies or counter evidence presented by Syria, Russia and independent experts and exploit these allegations in their political crusade against Assad government,” he said.

Nebenzia posed eight detailed questions to Arias, alleging the OPCW used double standards, didn’t maintain the “chain of custody” of evidence, and attempted “to turn a blind eye” to 200 tons of chemical weapons precursors missing in Libya “while in parallel pressuring Syria to explain the `disappearance’ of even tiny amounts of chemical substances.” He also questioned why concerns by inspectors allegedly weren’t considered by the OPCW.

Arias refused to answer these questions in an open session and continued in a closed one.

The video below shows the Gray Zone’s Aaron Mate who comments on the situation, and recalls that many of Nebenzia and others’ concerns regarding the OPCW came from detailed investigations by the Gray Zone with established facts and sources.

He then contrasted the Gray Zone’s investigations from those of the Bellingcat “investigative website.”

It can also specifically be seen in Fernando Arias’ statements that he was entirely disenfranchised in answering any questions, at all: he had a document that was drawn up and he was simply reading from it, without having even memorized what he was supposed to say, then refused to elaborate on anything further.

He was simply reading the script.

Report: U.S. Funded Specific Research at Wuhan Lab that Led to Coronavirus

The World Health Organization is beginning an investigation into the scientific origins of the coronavirus. They’ve assembled a blue-ribbon panel of doctors, researchers, and scientists to get to the bottom of the mystery.

As it turns out, investigative reporter Nicholson Baker did most of the work for them. Writing in New York Magazine, Baker reveals a horror story about an accidental release of the coronavirus deliberately created in a lab funded by U.S. tax dollars.

With meticulous research and some shocking interviews with scientists involved in the project, Baker crafts a narrative both frightening and convincing that includes the direct role Dr. Anthony Fauci had in pushing for the creation of the specific SARS-2 coronavirus.

Not bioterrorism. It was bio-stupidity. It was a bunch of scientists who got together and decided to play God by creating a Frankenstein monster of a coronavirus just to see how bad it could get. Their motives may have been noble — using the new coronavirus to develop vaccines for all coronaviruses. But given the possibility of an accidental release that could result in a worldwide pandemic, was it really worth it?

It was an accident. A virus spent some time in a laboratory, and eventually it got out. SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, began its existence inside a bat, then it learned how to infect people in a claustrophobic mine shaft, and then it was made more infectious in one or more laboratories, perhaps as part of a scientist’s well-intentioned but risky effort to create a broad-spectrum vaccine. SARS-2 was not designed as a biological weapon. But it was, I think, designed. Many thoughtful people dismiss this notion, and they may be right. They sincerely believe that the coronavirus arose naturally, “zoonotically,” from animals, without having been previously studied, or hybridized, or sluiced through cell cultures, or otherwise worked on by trained professionals. They hold that a bat, carrying a coronavirus, infected some other creature, perhaps a pangolin, and that the pangolin may have already been sick with a different coronavirus disease, and out of the conjunction and commingling of those two diseases within the pangolin, a new disease, highly infectious to humans, evolved.

Baker is right that it still may have been a naturally occurring virus and that a series of random, unlucky — and unlikely –steps in nature led to the creation of it. But Baker has asked questions that need to be answered both by American and Chinese scientists.

As it turns out, China isn’t the only nation with a vested interest in proving (or pushing the narrative) that the coronavirus occurred in nature. If, in fact, the coronavirus was engineered in a Wuhan lab, the United States is, at least, guilty by association.

We should have known better.

Daily Caller:

In the early 2000’s, Dr. Anthony Fauci, America’s top infectious disease expert, reportedly shifted his focus from an AIDS vaccine to combatting biological warfare. By 2003, his anti-terrorism budget at the National Institute of Health had reached nearly $2 billion. A significant chunk of this funding, and NIH research, went to genetically modifying certain pathogens, both in search of vaccines and to investigate their possible use as bioweapons.

Scientists raised red flags about these “gain-of-function” (GoF) experiments, arguing the danger of creating new, deadly, highly transmissible diseases outweighed any possible benefits. “The consequences, should the virus escape, are too devastating to risk,” read a 2012 New York Times editorial.

Calif. Requires Insurers to Pay for Breast Mutilation for Gender-Confused Teens

Just before the end of 2020, California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara issued an order stating that insurance companies cannot refuse to pay for a minor girl’s mastectomy just because she isn’t 18 yet. He reached this conclusion by defining the surgical removal of healthy breasts and the “creation of a male chest” as medically “necessary” for girls suffering from gender dysphoria (the painful sense of identifying with the gender opposite their biological sex) rather than “cosmetic.” This means that a gender dysphoric girl’s healthy chest would be considered “abnormal” if she identifies as male.

“For far too long, individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria have had to battle a host of challenges to get access to gender-affirming care in order to be their true selves,” Commissioner Lara said in a statement. He suggested that requiring girls to be 18 before they surgically remove their breasts is an example of “outdated medical criteria” that “create barriers to necessary medical care.”

Lara had his general counsel issue this order after the group Trans Family Support Services submitted a request to the California Department of Insurance asking whether it is legally permissible for insurance providers to deny transgender mastectomy coverage for girls under 18 due to their age. Lara ruled that “insurers may not deny coverage for a mastectomy and creation of a male chest (‘male chest reconstruction surgery’) for treating gender dysphoria in female-to-male patients based solely on the insured individual’s age.”

Note the Orwellian redefinition of terms. When an otherwise physically healthy gender-confused girl under 18 removes her breasts and has her chest reshaped to appear like that of a man, the insurance department terms this “male chest reconstruction surgery.” It uses the term “mastectomy” without acknowledging that this involves the removal of healthy tissue.

Yet the order proves far more explicit in redefining what is “normal.”

“Insurance Code section 10123.88 requires all health insurance policies to cover reconstructive surgery necessary to ‘improve function’ or ‘create a normal appearance, to the extent possible,'” The order notes. “Reconstructive surgery is defined as ‘surgery performed to correct or repair abnormal structures of the body caused by congenital defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors, or disease to do either of the following: (A) To improve function. (B) To create a normal appearance, to the extent possible.'”

Judicial Watch: Over 4,700 of Georgia’s Absentee Votes in November 2020 Election Tied to Non-Residential Addresses

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that Georgia voter data shows over 4,700 absentee voters in the presidential election listed non-residential addresses as their places of residence. Georgia law requires citizens registering to vote to reside “in that place in which such person’s habitation is fixed …” Judicial Watch yesterday shared its data with the Georgia Secretary of State and requested an investigation.

In total, 9,989 Georgia voters seem to be registered at non-residential addresses: 1,882 at commercial addresses, 1,336 registered at county and state governmental buildings, and 6,735 at either hotels or motels.

Additionally, 215 new registrations (between November 4-December 14) for today’s special election are linked to non-residential addresses.

Judicial Watch previously alerted the Georgia Secretary of Office to the voter registration address issue in April 2020.

“Judicial Watch found thousands of voters in Georgia who seemed to have used non-residential addresses to register to vote. This must be immediately investigated. We are concerned about the impact on Georgia’s elections in November and today,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

Judicial Watch is a national leader for cleaner elections.

In September 2020, Judicial Watch released a study revealing that 353 U.S. counties had 1.8 million more registered voters than eligible voting-age citizens. In other words, the registration rates of those counties exceeded 100% of eligible voters.

In Georgia: Bryan County (118%); Forsyth County (114%); Dawson County (113%); Oconee County (111%); Fayette County (111%); Fulton County (109%); Cherokee County (109%); Jackson County (107%); Henry County (106%); Lee County (106%); Morgan County (105%); Clayton County (105%); DeKalb County (105%); Gwinnett County (104%); Greene County (104%); Cobb County (104%); Effingham County (103%); Walton County (102%); Rockdale County (102%); Barrow County (101%); Douglas County (101%); Newton County (100%); Hall County (100%)

In 2020, Judicial Watch sued North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Colorado for failing to clean their voter rolls, and sued Illinois for refusing to disclose voter roll data in violation of federal law.

In 2018, the Supreme Court upheld a voter-roll cleanup program that resulted from a Judicial Watch settlement of a federal lawsuit with Ohio. California settled a federal lawsuit with Judicial Watch and in 2019 began the process of removing up to 1.6 million inactive names from Los Angeles County’s voter rolls.

Rate Of Adverse Reactions To COVID Vaccines Already 50x Higher Than Flu Shot

With reports this morning of another otherwise-healthy patient dying suddenly after receiving her first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, many skeptics in both Europe and the US still have serious reservations about the jabs, even as big pharma and their allies in the US and British governments insist that they are 100% safe. Everyone claiming otherwise is not only wrongheaded, but acting in a deliberately malicious manner.

This is why commentary like a video posted by DoubleLine's Jeffrey Gundlach where he questions the sky-high efficacy numbers published after the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech trials has elicited such vehement repudiation.

However, as new questions about efficacy and timing arise, independent journalist Alex Berenson, one of the most prominent skeptics of lockdowns and masks in the US, noted in a twitter thread earlier on Tuesday that the percentage of patients experiencing severe or potentially life-threatening reactions to the COVID-19 vaccines could be much higher than the data collected by the CDC are letting on.

The CDC's VAERS reporting system was set up to track vaccine-related injury, Most patients can expect to experience some kind of adverse reaction, but for the vast majority of patients, symptoms will be relatively mild and clear up within a couple of days. But amid a rush of reports about patient deaths, Berenson points out that the number of patients seeing serious complications per the number of doses distributed is roughly 50x higher than the rate of 'adverse' reactions caused by the flu vaccine.

Berenson also speculated that this number might be even higher due to possible delays in updating the CDC's data sets. This would seemingly confirm rates of adverse reactions seen during clinical trials. What's more, clinical trials, generally speaking, tend to "UNDERSTATE" unpleasant or unwanted side effects, while they "OVERSTATE" the drug's efficacy.

Meanwhile, the US, UK and Europe are all lagging behind vaccination targets, while Russian President Vladimir Putin recently suggested that Russia might jump on the "Immunity Passport" bandwagon.

Berenson recently sat for an interview with Joe Rogan on Rogan's popular podcast, where the longtime journalist (who once worked for the NYT) discussed other misconceptions about the "science" behind COVID-19, including questioning the US death toll.

Long Sought US Anti-Money Laundering Bill to Ban Anonymous Companies

After more than a decade-long push by transparency and anti-corruption advocates to ban the incorporation of anonymous companies, U.S. Congress on Friday passed the measure into law. The move is expected to make it more difficult for criminals and kleptocrats to conceal the origin of their ill-gotten gains.

US Capitol U.S. Capitol building (Photo:Martin Falbisoner, CC BY-SA 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons)“The new provisions serve as the most significant update to U.S. anti-money laundering laws in a generation,” read a statement by Transparency International’s U.S. Office, which helped legislators draft the law.

As part of a larger defense bill, which Congress passed by overriding a veto by President Donald Trump, the Corporate Transparency Act will force secretive shell companies to reveal the identities of their beneficial owners to the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

Gary Kalman, who serves as the TI Office’s director, described the bill as “one of the most important anti-corruption measures ever passed by the U.S. Congress,” and added that it will help the U.S. catch up with transparency standards that have already been established by numerous countries, including the European Union.

Over the last several decades, the U.S. has reckoned with notoriously lax regulations that has made it one of the most financially secretive hotbeds in the world.

One study by the think tank Global Financial Integrity found that on a state by state level, individuals had to provide far more information to obtain a library card than to create a company.

Rick McDonnell, the former Executive Secretary of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and current Executive Director at ACAMS, a financial crime detection and prevention organization, told OCCRP in a video call that opaque company ownership was the main vulnerability in its otherwise strong reputation for cracking down on illicit financial flows.

“The US has always been one of the leaders, if not the main leader, in relation to anti-money laundering and terrorist financing,” he said, explaining that the FATF – tasked with assessing vulnerabilities in countries’ financial law enforcement – found its failure to identify beneficial owners to be one of its few significant flaws.

Once this measure is in effect, “it will vastly increase the likelihood of law enforcement and supervisors being able to determine whether bad actors are using shell corporations or not,” he said, adding that it will then be far easier to uncover financial crimes.

Given the size of the U.S. economy, this decision will also force other countries to do the same if they wish to conduct business within the U.S. financial system, McDonnell explained.

While some beneficial ownership registries are accessible to the public, such as the U.K.’s Companies House, the U.S. bill only allows company ownership to be accessed by law enforcement, and will not be made available to citizens or journalists, even if requested through the Freedom of Information Act – which generally provides full or partial disclosure of government information and documents upon request.

Several civil society organizations, such as Transparency International, have pushed financial authorities such as the FATF to mandate global public registers so that investigative journalists do not have to wait for leaks – such as the Panama Papers – to follow illicit money trails.

“We think that the database should be public," Kalman, of Transparency International, said.

Report: Extortion in Syrian Prisons Funding Assad Regime

Corrupt prison officials and military personnel in Syria are using the systematised extortion of detainees and their families to fund the Assad regime, according to a recent report.

Sednaya PrisonBetween 2011 and 2015, mass executions of 20 to 50 prisoners were reportedly conducted at Sednaya Prison, sometimes twice a week (Credit: ADMSP, Creative Commons Licence)Since 2010, forced bribery payments to prison and military officials by families of those detained in exchange for information, visits and releases have likely reached around US$900 million, as claimed by the paper, published on Monday by the Association of Detainees and the Missing in Sednaya Prison (ADMSP).

It concludes that the country’s government has thereby turned “forced disappearances and arrests” into an industry for the benefit of the state.

While the numbers represent significantly conservative estimates due to a lack of available data, the organisation suggests that well over 100,000 people have been forcibly disappeared in Syria since 2010, with a further 250,000 arrested and subsequently released.

“Arrests and monetary extortion of the population constitute a great source of funding for the state, and its repressive apparatus,” ADMSP states.

The Assad regime has a long history of forced disappearance, this being one of the main strategies adopted by Hafez Al-Assad, father of current president Bashar Al-Assad, in enforcing against dissent during his time as the country’s leader between 1971 and 2000.

With the significant growth in the number of forcibly detained since the Syrian revolution of 2011, ADMSP suggests that the systematisation of bribery payments was developed by the authorities as a strategy for financing themselves, “especially after the regime began losing control of large areas of the country in 2012 and the years that followed.”

The majority of arrests have taken place at military checkpoints, where civilians are required to produce photographic ID. Though the data is incomplete, the recent report observes that the lion’s share of detainees heralded from the governate of Idlib, one of the last remaining strongholds controlled by rebel and jihadist forces opposed to the Assad regime.

Syria’s treatment of those detained — arbitrarily or not — has drawn international outcry from governments and human-rights organisations alike.

Amnesty International has previously reported on mass executions conducted between 2011 and 2015 at the notorious Sednaya prison, with between 20 and 50 inmates being hung in the dead of night as often as twice a week.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Network for Human Rights issued a report in 2019 outlining no fewer than 72 methods of torture being used against detainees, including scalding with boiling hot water and the removal of body parts, as well as rape and other sexual abuse, and allowing junior doctors to practice on prisoners for surgical training.

On Saturday, Syria again decried sanctions imposed by the United States against state institutions and high-profile members of the government and business elite, many of whom have been accused of profiteering from the war that has ravaged the Middle Eastern country for more than a decade.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry described the economic restrictions as “crimes against humanity,” according to the Associated Press.

FILE- In this Sept. 16, 2019 file photo, the Dominion Voting system Georgia will use is shown Monday, in Atlanta.

Trump Claims Dominion Voting Machines 'Not Working for Over an Hour' in Georgia Runoff Election

After months of US President Donald Trump and his campaign team faulting Dominion's machines for his November 3 election loss, the voting hardware company is threatening to bring a lawsuit alleging the claims hurt their business performance.

Trump has claimed that voting machines in certain Republican-majority districts in the US state of Georgia have been malfunctioning during Tuesday's runoff election for its two US Senate seats.

Appearing to cite US Rep. Rick Allen (R-GA), Trump claimed on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon that voting machines owned by Dominion Voting Systems had not been working "for over an hour" in certain Republican strongholds of the state.

"Ballots are being left in lock boxes, hopefully they count them," Trump added.

Reports are coming out of the 12th Congressional District of Georgia that Dominion Machines are not working in certain Republican Strongholds for over an hour. Ballots are being left in lock boxes, hopefully they count them. Thank you Congressman @RickAllen!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 5, 2021

Trump has pointed to the machines as being behind his November 3, 2020, loss to US President-elect Joe Biden, claiming Dominion changed thousands of votes for Trump into votes for US President-elect Joe Biden in several key swing states, including Georgia. However, all of Trump's lawsuits alleging voter fraud have been thrown out by the courts and after lengthy ballot recounts and audits, the results have all been certified by election authorities.

Earlier on Tuesday, Dominion CEO John Poulos said the company was preparing a defamation lawsuit against Sidney Powell, a former attorney for Trump's presidential campaign, for "spreading false information" about the company and the veracity of its voting machines "with malicious intent."

It's unclear what Trump's source is for his Tuesday claims. However, right-wing news site The Gateway Pundit reported that several voters had called in to the radio show of former Trump campaign board member John Fredericks alleging an inability to vote thanks to malfunctioning voting machines. According to the outlet, the voters were given paper ballots instead.

The Tuesday election is unusual in that both of Georgia's seats in the US Senate are up for election at the same time. One race, between Republican incumbent Sen. David Perdue and Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff, is the result of a failure by either candidate to secure a majority of votes in the November 3 election. However, the second vote is between Democratic candidate the Reverend Raphael Warnock and sitting Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who was appointed last year to fill the seat after former Sen. Johnny Isakson retired due to health reasons.

With the US Senate evenly split between the Republicans and Democrats, Tuesday's vote could decide which party controls Congress' upper house. The Democrats retained their control over the US House of Representatives in November, and with Biden in the White House, a Democratic victory in Georgia could give liberals control over both the legislature and the executive for the first time since 2011.

VIDEO: Ossoff Aide Says He Hides Progressive Values to Sway Georgia ‘Rednecks’

The US Senate candidate’s aide said Ossoff thinks Georgians are ‘closed minded’ and called them ‘rednecks’ who are vulnerable to deception

An undercover video has captured a campaign aide to Democrat US Senate candidate Jon Ossoff explaining how the candidate is actively executing a campaign to manipulate Georgians for the votes.

As Georgia voters head to polls today to vote in the twin run-off elections for that state’s two US Senate seats, an October Project Veritas video capturing a campaign aide for Ossoff saying the candidate keeps his Progressivism hidden to sway Georgia “rednecks” is receiving renewed scrutiny.

In the October 26, 2020, undercover video, Ossoff field organizer Dino Nguyen says the candidate “is not going to win the election as a Progressive, and that’s basically it.”

“On the surface, he tries to portray himself as Left of moderate so that all the Georgians – not us Georgians, but all the rednecks and all that stuff – will be like, ‘Oh, he’s kind of cool, but he’s not so far to the Left that I’m not cool with that.’ But deep down he’s low-key Progressive,” Ngyuen is caught admitting in the video.

“Jon is genuine to a certain point, but he can’t show his true self 100 percent of the time,” Nguyen continues. “That’s the tough part of the campaigning in purple or red states.”

Nguyen continues on in the video to explain that Ossoff keeps his extreme, “Squad-like” Progressive beliefs to himself on the campaign trail “because the people here are not open-minded.”

Ossoff has also been on the hot seat because of his relationship with a pro-Communist Chinese media outlet in Hong Kong and his work for Al Jazeera, a pro-Islamofascist media outlet out of Qatar.

Ossoff is in a tight race with incumbent US Senator David Purdue (R-GA).

Ossoff’s Democrat counterpart in the twin run-off elections, the Rev. Raphael Warnock – who is also in a tight race against incumbent US Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) – has also faced an intense amount of scrutiny during the campaign for his embrace of Black Liberation Theology, his association with a New York Church that celebrated Fidel Castro, and recent allegations of spousal abuse.

At stake in today’s election are both control of the US Senate and whether the United States will fall to totalitarian one-party rule.
