Great question. If anyone gives you shit about not wearing a mask, simply ask two questions:
1) Do masks protect from the virus?
They will say of course.
2) Well if you're protected, then why do you care if I wear one?
Possibly. But the one time I gave that line of questioning to someone, they just shook their head and walked away.
