But they can get around the State Secret Priv. The judge can request to see the "secret" information and decide if it is relevant to the case without disclosing the secret info to the public or anyone else.

I can see how the SSP can be super important but it's also open to huge abuses and there is basically no check on it's use. Supreme Court ruled the US the winners in that case but then went on to amend the rule, basically, to say that the judge can look at whatever the secret info is.

 

I haven't figured out how we are going to use it to our advantage though. We are trying to expose the state secrets and not hide them.
