I lived 3 houses away from his mother's house when I was younger.
He'd sometimes come to visit and all the giant bus and blacked out SUVs would pack the driveway.
I saw them 3 times over the years. I saw him maybe four times in total.
I even saw him mowing the lawn once and got to talk to him for like 10 mins.
Said he saw me mowing my lawn and decided to get out and do the same.
Seemed pretty cool.
That would have been '98 or '99.
He used to work for the Shoney's in that area and I think he went to the same elementary school I did.
I always liked him. Good musician.
