'Chaos' in Pennsylvania state Senate as GOP refuses to seat Dem declared winner in contested race
Republicans also called for the state's lieutenant governor to be booted from the chamber
Republicans in Pennsylvania's GOP-controlled state Senate refused to seat a Democratic senator-elect on Tuesday and even moved to have the Democratic lieutenant governor booted from the chamber in a scene local outlet KDKA-TV described as "chaos."
Democrat Jim Brewster has been certified by the state as the winner of a narrow Senate race against Republican candidate Nicole Ziccarelli. But when it was time for Brewster to be sworn in along with other incoming senators in the state, Republicans intervened and refused to allow him to take the oath of office.
At the time, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D) was presiding over the chamber and protested against the GOP's move while continuing to try to move forward with Brewster's swearing in. Republicans reacted by passing a motion to remove Fetterman from the chair, but when the lieutenant governor refused to leave, Republicans simply spoke over him and took over leadership from another part of the chamber.
KDKA reported that eventually Brewster withdrew.
"I wanted the rest of the senators with their families there, and in some cases their children there, to be sworn in," the Democrat told the outlet.
"I was disappointed and flabbergasted that they removed the lieutenant governor," Brewster said. "I think that is a move that went too far."

Reflecting a nationwide trend, Republicans in the state sought to invalidate ballots that omitted a handwritten date. Brewster's Republican challenger Nicole Ziccarelli lost by 69 votes in state-certified results. Zicarelli has argued that without 311 contested mail-in ballots, she would win by 24 votes.
Law & Crime pointed out that "the Pennsylvania Supreme Court previously rejected Ziccarelli's attempts to contest the election results."
Ziccarelli, meanwhile, insists she has won the race "after all legally cast ballots have been counted."

88 State Legislators Ask VP Pence to Postpone ‘Opening and Counting of the Electoral Votes for at Least 10 Days’
Late Tuesday, 88 state legislators from five battleground states sent a letter to Vice President Mike Pence in which they asked him to postpone the opening and counting of Electoral College votes, currently scheduled to take place during Wednesday’s joint session of Congress, “for at least 10 days.”
When the Electoral College met in fifty state capitals on December 14, 2020, subsequent to the certification of the November 3 election results by officials in each state, 306 Electors cast ballots for Joe Biden, and 232 cast ballots for Donald Trump. The letter reads:
On January 6, 2021, you are statutorily authorized and required under the Electoral Count Act of 1887 to preside over both houses of Congress to count and record the Presidential electoral vote count to elect the President and Vice President of the United States. This congressionally set deadline, however, is not the supreme law of the land, and in fact must not supersede our state legislative authority under the Constitution. Moreover, the deadline is not necessitated by circumstances, especially when it truncates the fulfillment of our constitutional duties and our responsibility to the American people.
“There are extensive and well-founded accusations of electoral administration mismanagement and deliberate and admitted violations of explicit election laws enacted by state legislatures in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin,” the state legislators continued, adding:
Therefore, we write to ask you to comply with our reasonable request to afford our nation more time to properly review the 2020 election by postponing the January 6th opening and counting of the electoral votes for at least 10 days, affording our respective bodies to meet, investigate, and as a body vote on certification or decertification of the election. This action can be completed prior to the inauguration date, as required by the Constitution.
The letter was organized Got Freedom, a 501 (c) (4) non-profit election integrity watchdog group that also organized a Saturday phone call with 300 state legislators that President Trump addressed.
“The letter was signed by 88 lawmakers, with more signing on by the hour, and similar letters have been signed by other legislators in the swing states, bringing the total to well over 100 total signatories,” Got Freedom said in a statement released late Tuesday.
“These elected officials are not asking Mike Pence to overturn the election results, and they’re certainly not trying to subvert our democracy,” Phill Kline, spokesperson for Got Freedom, said. Kline also serves as the director of The Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit public interest law firm.
“Rather, they’re simply requesting that they be allowed to perform the role required of them by the Constitution — an opportunity that in some cases has been actively denied by their own governors,” Kline added.
Under the Twelfth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Vice President Pence, as President of the Senate, has a specific constitutional role to play at Wednesday’s joint session of the 117th Congress, convened for the purpose of determining whether or not to accept the Electoral Votes submitted by the Electoral College to Congress as part of the process of selecting the next president.

Stacey Abrams Buys Ad Time in GA to Ensure Ballots Counted After Senate Runoffs
Stacey Abrams has already purchased television ad time in Georgia to make sure ballots are counted and cured following the senate runoff elections on Tuesday.
New York Times national political correspondent Jonathan Martin tweeted an ad showing Abrams telling voters to “confirm the status of your ballot today”:

In the ad paid for by her group, Fair Fight, Abrams urged citizens to visit PeachVote.com to learn the status of their ballots.
“Don’t wait. Your vote has the power to determine the future of Georgia and our country. It’s time to make certain your voice was heard,” she said.
Last week, a federal judge blocked efforts by Fair Fight to get a temporary restraining order against election monitoring in Georgia by True The Vote, an organization that exists to stop voter fraud across the nation.
“The judge’s order marks a rare defeat for Abrams, as well as for Democratic Party lawyer Marc Alias, who led many of the party’s election lawsuits in 2020 and helped fund the fraudulent ‘Russia dossier’ in 2016 that led to the ‘collusion’ hoax,” Breitbart News reported:
True The Vote challenged the eligibility of 364,000 voters to participate in the upcoming runoffs for two U.S. Senate seats from Georgia because their names have appeared on the change-of-address database maintained by the U.S. Postal Service.
Fair Fight filed a lawsuit on behalf of itself and two unnamed defendants, “John Doe” and “Jane Doe,” alleging that True The Vote was engaged in a campaign of “voter suppression and intimidation” through its eligibility challenge and other activities.
During a rally for Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue on Monday night in Dalton, Georgia, President Donald Trump said Democrats will turn America into a one-party country if they win the Senate runoff elections.

These Seven States Provided Two Sets of Electors to the US Congress – Tomorrow We See How They Will Be Handled
At this point in time, tomorrow’s electoral college validation process led by the President of the Senate (Vice President Mike Pence) will come down to how to handle seven states with 84 electoral votes.
This is unless something else occurs that we aren’t aware of.
Here is what we already know. There are seven states that are still in question due to the fact that two sets of electors are expected to be provided to VP Pence tomorrow. Here is a list of those states in question:
Pennsylvania – here laws were changed by the courts and the executive branch using COVID as their excuse. But they arguably didn’t have the right to make these changes. The legislative branch in Pennsylvania (and many states) has this right. If the ballots that were received after election day are eliminated due to these unconstitutional actions, President Trump will easily win this state by several hundred thousand votes. The voter fraud which included Republicans not allowed to review ballot counting was horrendous in this state. There are also estimates of tens of thousands of votes which were switched from President Trump to Joe Biden within the voting machine systems and tens of thousands of fraudulent absentee ballots included in the counts currently.
Georgia – this state too has much fraud. The President was winning this state on election night by 100,000 votes. But after the election a program was put in place to basically harvest a number of ballots. Once the harvested ballots are thrown out, this state will go to Trump as well. There was all kinds of fraud here as well including pulling ballots in suitcases out from under tables late at night when now poll watchers were present. In addition, currently there are 460,000 absentee ballots that do not have chain of custody documentation that is legally required.
Michigan – this state was also full of fraud. There were over 100,000 votes dumped in Detroit late election night and the lead here was stolen from Trump as well. They blocked the doors and covered the windows in Detroit to prevent Republican poll watchers from seeing what was going on there the day after the election. Military ballots were questionably processed and all sorts of corrupt activities were reported here.
