As I prepare to head out to my seemingly meaningless (as compared to today's promises) "job"

I feel the need to say

Please Lord, maker of all that is seen and unseen

bring us comfort and peace

or

bring us some sort completion

some sort of change; we have been patient and compliant, faithful and a bit impatient it's true

but honestly, we are certainly at or near the end of our tolerance

launch this, one way or the other

just launch it please

In Jesus' name I pray and thank you for your hand in this country's making and management. I hope enough of us have turned our hearts back to you.

So in all humbleness, I beseech thee - please keep our people safe today and please show us all that you are indeed with those who are with you.
