Guise, did Seven Days in May almost happen? I mean, we know the coup attempt was REAL, but did it seriously almost happen in May? We're watching a movie, right?

Burt Lancaster played General James Scott, the leader of the coup – a very self-righteous and proud man who's convinced he has the moral and ethical upper-hand over the President, and believes he has the public's absolute support.

There was a plane crash in the movie that conveniently killed President Lyman's Chief of Staff, who was returning to Washington with evidence of the coup plot.

The President then has an epic one-on-one showdown with General Scott in the WH, where he accuses Scott of orchestrating the coup and asks for his resignation, which he is eventually forced to give when the evidence is recovered. The coup attempt is thwarted.

Also this: Burt Lancaster was in a movie called APACHE. Q's APACHE post came right after his JC Tweet Translation post.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but…General James Scott = JC?
