According to Deadline, which first broke the news of the series, it will be produced by Jemima Khan. Ian Kelly is reportedly co-writing the script.

THE SERIES WILL BE SET IN THE 19TH CENTURY.

Deadline reports that "The family saga is one of the ultimate rags-to-riches tales, set against the backdrop of war and revolution. It tells the story of how the family became to possess the largest private fortune in the world during the 19th century."

The family's patriarch Nathan Mayer Rothschild, created a banking empire after gaining "pre-eminence in the bullion trade during the Napoleonic Wars." The show will reportedly also "tell the story of European Jewry and the triumph over antisemitism."

THE SERIES IS REPORTEDLY IN DEVELOPMENT WITH SKY ATLANTIC.

Any information about when or where it might air in the U.S. or casting details has yet to be shared publicly.

A nephew of U.S. Senator Jon Tester was killed in his home in Washington state by a man suspected of wielding an ax and telling his 8-year-old daughter to stay in her room because he was going to kill her father, police said Wednesday night.

Bob Tester, 35, was found lying in a pool of blood in his residence outside the city of Spokane on Tuesday morning, reports KXLY, a local ABC affiliate.
