Not if the DOD and JCOS are in the decision process. Why was this matter not referred to POTUS? Or if it was, why would VP step into CoC w/o COG processes being invoked?

POTUS in secret meetings and this is all optics/theater? (ie. POTUS did authorize or delegated authority)

POTUS is being held/threatened and sidelined? (Audio on last mssg was “off” - was it green screen? Has CoG been invoked? If so, by whom?)
This all seems to go from bad to worse, from the standpoint of external appearances. Getting hard to believe in some forthcoming action that will snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
