And we financed the stock buybacks through the suppressed interest rates that gutted our savings. As a candidate, Trump was the Fed suppressing interest rates. But once in office, all he did was push for it. He's even said that negative interest rates "are a good thing".
From when Trump was against Fed Reserve manipulation of interest rates and money printing. He ran on being against this stuff. Then he did a 180 once ihe was elected.
