v8 Lord identifies Job as a case in point of a just God fearing man.
v9 Satan asks does he fear you for nothing?
v10 Satan states that Job serves Lord only because he only fears loosing this house and all good thing about him and the Lord multiplies his assets about him.
v11 Satan tells the Lord to take away all his assets and goodness and then Job will hate him.
v12 The Lord tells Satan, what he has is within your power, take it all away if you want to see his loyalty to me, but do not touch HIM, he is mine. So Satan gave up and left.

The Lord was sighting Job as an example. The point was Satan may control what he doesn't or does not have, but he can not control Job's heart because he was loyal to the Lord.
In any case, I will be doing either right where I am. I will not be moving to Jerusalem.
