It would appear that digging may be fruitful. Lots of hard info in the original article, but also plenty of speculation.
The links to Iran are tenuous still, so this would be a hunch on a hunch, with solid evidence of something very shady going on with the Hussein SEC knowing somewhat about it at least from public records.
Usually wouldn't think anything of it, as this stuff goes on far more than most realize (e.g. Wesley Clark is known for being involved with penny stock scams like this), but it's the IRON EAGLE reference that tingles the spidey sense.
And IF this side-by-side is at all revealing, IRON EAGLE could be something involved with the payments vs. being something military focused, as might appear upon first glance.
