Trump essentially forced their hand into certifying a false election as quickly as possible and the VP was there to confirm their votes as a witness. instead of recessing until the next day, they finished it the same day. they made their bed and now they have to sleep in it. what makes this even better is, they thought Pence was on their side since he refused to overturn the results like Trump was "goading" him into doing. they continued thinking he was on their side and asked him to help remove Trump from office… which he refused, all after he confirmed/witnessed their false election results.
