Almighty and gracious God, please hear our prayers

We pray to You, oh God, for peace and truth and righteousness in our land. We pray for Justice. We pray for a bright and prosperous future for our nation and our citizens. We pray for our President, our First Lady, their family, and their closest friends. Give them the strength to endure these most difficult days. Keep them safe, and protect them from those who would bring evil and misfortune upon them. Bless them all with Your Love and Your Light and Your Power, so they might act out Your will. We pray to You oh God in the name of Your only son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
