I get how his speech tonight sounded, but he was saying it for the DS, not for us.

I heard him condemn antifa's violence, the DS heard him condemn his supporters responses.

I am a writer, I have learned to speak the language of my intended audience. POTUS' speech was very carefully crafted to appeal to both sides, but required discernment for patriots to understand what he was saying.

He was not dissing us, he was dissing them.

So, the reason for not teaching critical thinking skills in public school should be clear to everyone by now.
