They will likely be imprisoned and falsely charged with treason and sedition (especially in light of recent events). The goal of course being to deter this (rise of Trump/MAGA) from ever happening again.
Expect them to plainly state that "allowing Donald Trump to walk away, free and clear, will leave the federal government vulnerable to a rise in domestic terrorism, as Trump seems intent on further enflaming unrest and anger among his supporters. For the good of the country, and the security of the nation, he must be locked away and his voice silenced. Those who continue to support him must also face penalties."
