So ... if POTUS isn't "going to" the Inauguration on January 20th, perhaps this means the Inauguration is coming to him?

For example, perhaps the inauguration of his second term will be held at an undisclosed location outside Washington DC for security reasons during the storm ...

I know some are speculating about the Inauguration being delayed from January 20. With that date set in the Constitution, the only ways I could see that happening are either a fast-tracked Constitutional Amendment, or a finding that the prior Amendment moving Inauguration from March to January was invalid for some technical reason (not correctly certified).

Granted that a ratification of Trump as the legitimate winner of the Electoral College would seem to require the assent of Congress (what remains of it after the Storm) and they could fast-track through an Amendment moving the Inauguration date, but if Congress can take any such action before the 20th, they wouldn't need the Amendment. So that line of speculation (delayed Inauguration) makes me wonder if perhaps we're going to find most actions of the US Government over the past 100 years are null and void? Trying to connect the dots here ... (and that is a wild enough one, that parsing POTUS as saying his Inauguration will be held outside Washington DC seems like the simpler option.)

A lot going on.

One thing I missed but wanted to know what POTUS was so intent on watching on the screen. In general thought he was just watching the crowd arrive.

It does however look like an ambulance was showing up with lights on to the capitol grounds. I wondering if he was monitoring the situation out of concern? At the very end he starts to point and say something then the video cuts. I believe this occurred before speech.
