Plus, Pakistan is the historical ally of the US. India was funded by the Soviet Union back in the day. So, all their equipment is US funded equipment.

Sure. It's getting a load of infrastructure money from China but that hardly makes them a proxy. Pakistan has always been very good at playing both (or should that be all) sides. Maybe they will come under pressure but I doubt there will be all out war.
