Those two KC-10s just landed at Travis, FINALLY.
Holy epic flight. Originated in Italy, then hung out over Hill AFB for a while, never touching down.
Those are KC-10 tankers.
But I have been tracking them and wondering the same thing. Bring civilians in clandestinely?

KC-10 extenders are multi-service fuel tankers, which have both an Air Force style extender boom, and the Navy style drogue hose. This pair flew all the way from Italy non-stop, although they did some loops over the English Channel and also over Hill AFB Utah, before finally landing at Travis AFB, California.
Whether or not an AF fuel tanker would be transporting extradited persons from Italy is anyone's guess.
I keep wondering how declas matters at all, without a platform through which to distribute said information. POTUS would have to take over the EAS system for a couple days non stop to dump all the stuff we know.
