Building on the news about @POTUS account…

I use Vicinitas, amongst others, to download tweets via Twitter API.

If you try downloading @POTUS now, you will find that every tweet that ISN'T a retweet of @Whitehouse, has disappeared.

Also if you use same to download @DanScavino tweets you#ll see that ALL of his RETWEETS of @realDonaldTrump have also disappeared.

CONCLUSION:

Whereas all Presidential communications should be retained, they are positioning thus:

Twitter has decided unilaterally that only @POTUS and @WhiteHouse twitter accounts are deemed by them to be Presidential communications.

I think this needs to be tested in court… ASAP

It's the height of arrogance that they think they decide what is Presidential communication!
