BELLEVUE, Wash. – Bellevue Police say they have arrested a 19-year-old man suspected of sex trafficking a 16-year-old girl.
Police say Keith Sims transported his "extremely vulnerable" family member to a hotel in Bellevue for an hour-long, $400 prostitution date with an undercover police detective.
When officers arrested Sims, they found more than $4,100 in cash and a 9mm semi-automatic firearm.
He was booked into King County Jail and charged with Promoting Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the First Degree, and Misdemeanor Violation of a Sexual Assault Protection Order.
He remains in jail on a $250,000 bail.
