Southwest VA, known for starting the #2A Sanctuary movement nationwide, has begun rolling out it's COVID-19 vaccination logistics plans.

So far Ballad Health centers where they have them and in Tazewell County and Buchanan County Food City stores are where the vaccination centers will be.

Despite being deep in Appalachia where "the mountains protect us" generally due to not only remoteness and overall population size and how spread out everyone and everything is, over the last month or two (starting right before the election) SWVA's COVID-19 case numbers have skyrocketed.

Side note: the local hospitals in the area, especially Buchanan General, are known as the worst hospitals in the country. The local townfolk consider the Board of Directors of Buch General to be "Washington D.C. Swamp" levels of corrupt, so numbers might be getting…."padded" to get extra federal money by charging non-COVID patients/deaths as COVID related.

Same story in Appalachia as elsewhere. Sad!
