Feds arrest 'QAnon Shaman,' West Virginia lawmaker after Capitol riot

By David Matthews Published 44 mins ago Capitol Riot FOX 5 DC

WASHINGTON - Federal prosecutors on Saturday announced the arrests of three high-profile rioters in the U.S. Capitol this week, including the "QAnon Shaman" and a West Virginia lawmaker.

The third suspect arrested was so-called "Lectern Guy" Adam Johnson of Florida.

Prosecutors say 36-year-old Johnson was charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; one count of theft of government property; and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Johnson was photographed walking through the Capitol with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lectern.

Jacob Anthony Chansley, The so-called "QAnon Shaman," of Arizona is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Prosecutors say Chansley, also known as Jake Angeli, was arrested Saturday.

Angeli distinguished himself from other insurgents in the Capitol by wearing face paint, a bearskin headdress and no shirt. He also carried a six-foot-long spear with an American flag tied below the blade.

West Virginia Delegate Derrick Evans, 35, was charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol Grounds.

Authorities say they arrested Evans on Friday.

The recently elected Evans streamed live to his Facebook page a video of himself joining and encouraging a crowd unlawfully entering the U.S. Capitol. In the video, Evans is allegedly seen crossing the threshold of the doorway into the U.S. Capitol and shouting, "We’re in, we’re in! Derrick Evans is in the Capitol!"

The cases are being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and investigated by the FBI’s Washington Field Office and the United States Capitol Police.

Federal authorities continue to search for the suspect who planted pipe bombs throughout the District on Wednesday, as well as other rioters.

Rosanne Boyland, Trump supporter who died, followed QAnon conspiracy, family says

KENNESAW, Ga. — Before she died in Wednesday’s siege at the U.S. Capitol, Rosanne Boyland was a recovering drug addict who wanted to become a sobriety counselor. But she also believed, wrongly, that President Donald Trump won the November election, and she'd begun following a dark conspiracy theory that has circulated online, her family said.

“It just spiraled,” her sister, Lonna Cave, said Friday outside her home in suburban Atlanta.

Boyland, 34, was one of three people who died of medical emergencies when a pro-Trump mob, egged on by the president, stormed the Capitol as Congress was certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s victory. A fourth person was fatally shot by police and an officer was also killed.

Cave said the family has heard conflicting accounts of what happened to Boyland. A friend who was with her said Boyland was pinned to the ground and trampled during a violent clash between rioters and police. But Capitol police said Boyland, a Kennesaw resident, collapsed in the Capitol Rotunda and could not be saved.

According to the police incident report, officers responding to a call of a medical emergency "were led into the Capitol Rotunda where they observed two members of the United States Capitol Police performing CPR." Witnesses told the officers that Boyland had "collapse(d)" during the protest demonstrations. Emergency responders did lifesaving efforts on the scene and then transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to police.

Trump supporter riots: Horn-wearing QAnon 'shaman' Jake Angeli arrested and charged

The self-styled QAnon "shaman" was one of the suspects the FBI had been looking for.

Saturday 9 January 2021 17:44, UK

A horn-wearing Donald Trump supporter whose photo during the US Capitol riots went viral has been arrested and charged.

Jacob Anthony Chansley, who calls himself Jake Angeli, is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

The self-styled QAnon "shaman" from Arizona was taken into custody today.

It is alleged that Chansley was identified as the man seen in media coverage who entered the Capitol building dressed in horns and a bearskin headdress. He was shirtless, with red, white and blue face paint.

He was carrying a six-foot spear with an American stars and stripes flag tied just below the blade.

His appearance led to the Jamiroquai hashtag trending on social media after comparisons between the protester and the 90s pop group.

Its frontman Jay Kay was forced to deny it was him taking part in the riots.

Police also arrested another man who achieved notoriety around the world after he was photographed carrying the US House Speaker's podium in the Capitol riots.

Adam Christian Johnson was taken to the Pinellas County jail in his home state of Florida on Friday.

The 36-year-old had been quickly identified on social media, and then his local newspaper, the Bradenton Herald, discovered he was from Parrish, a small community about 25 miles (40 km) south of the city of Tampa, where police officers found him.

Amazing and very revealing interview with RFK Jr. where he basically says that theCIA killed both his Uncle JFK and his Father RFKyet he did not believe that his

RFK starts right out of the gate revealing this stuff and goes on for 10 minutes until Ron tries to get him to focus on the pressing issue of Vaccines.
