comms situation, anecdote: cell service interruption

We are noticing that cell service has been down in our area 1/8 through today 1/9. 0-1 bar, all over this area, not just 1 cell tower. Texts not going through for like 40 minutes etc.

"Map" says "no problems", but there is.
