ok so chrome and google are out. brave is based off of chromium which is chromes open source code. guess that also excludes dissenter which is also based off of brave/chromium. that leaves opera for the mainstream browsers. what else? you should drop google and duckduckgo search engines. what about startpage, qwant and yandex? are there others?

chrome and firefox
so whats left? we going back to text based browsers like links and lynx lol
no i fully understand what opensource means. issue is that its still google code. yes you can pour over the code but this is more of a boycott of anything related to google - which seems impossible
anyone use dnscrypt to encrypt their dns requests? have been running it for a little over a year on my linux server and desktops and it seems to work well especially if you run it through adfilter doh/dnscrypt servers.
https://github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-proxy
for windows users this is the easiest method to setup: https://www.simplednscrypt.org/.
seems that way for sure
thats what im using now actually. was just trying to see what else is out there that isnt based off of anything google related. doesnt look like it
