So, the thing that looks like a "bottle"?

It seems that the actual reflection of the door trim was stretched to accommodate the removal of the "laptop/folder".

What appears to be missing from the door reflection is equal to the longer line of reflection on the stretched image.

The sharper turn from that longer line at the end,

is the side of the door.
