Prohibition of a Natural medicinal substance most certainly seems like a severe violation of our First Amendment Rights. If the very "law" itself was unlawful, as it most certainly would be going against the very Supreme Law of the Land, then any and all fines and additional punishments can and should be deemed "excessive". Thus, any and all fines and punishments attached to any and all "convictions" would thereby be in violation of the Eighth Amendment, as well.
