Anon would like to suggest a correction of this PB Notable,

The notable says that Sec. Pompeo tweeted 2 pics: one of Pompeo, POTUS and Pence and one of Pompeo and POTUS.

 

Secretary Pompeo did tweet 2 pictures in his 1-1-2021 tweet, but they were not as described in the notable. One was a pic of the US Constitution and the other of POTUS and himself. Secretary Pompeo did not crop the picture with POTUS, it just looks that way as presented by Twitter. If you click on the pic that appears to be cropped, you can see the full picture. On the right side of the full picture, an imperfection can be seen on the mantle. "AL 49" appears to be etched into the mantle.

 

Anon searched "Abraham Lincoln + 1849" and found that prior to becoming President (on May 22, 1849), Lincoln received a patent for a device to lift boats over shoals. Lincoln had previously been on a flatboat which became stranded on a milldam. "Before the flatboat could get to the Illinois River, it became stranded on a milldam at New Salem, a small pioneer settlement along the Sangamon. As the boat took on water, Lincoln sprang to action. He had part of the cargo unloaded to right the boat, then secured an auger from the village cooper shop. After drilling a hole in the bow, he let the water run out. Then he plugged the hole, helped move the boat over the dam, and proceeded to New Orleans."

Anon wonders if the etching (AL 49) on the mantle points us to the Abe Lincoln story. Will this boat we find ourselves in be flooted past the shools, the water we've taken on drained and our journey to a secure future be secured? Is there a clue here that other Anons can find?

The tweet you posted called one the original and the other pic the one that Pompeo tweeted. That is what I am pointing out. If you don't agree with the tweet, why would you post it without pointing that out?

It still made notables and imo should not have because the original tweet implies that Pompeo somehow left out Pence.
