Google doesn't control all of the DNS servers.
ALot of people do have a Google DNS server in their home PCs and routers since their IP addresses are easy to remember.
If your DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4, change them immediately.
Search for "free open DNS servers" and pick a couple from the list.
Of course, if the ROOT DNS servers are compromised, then we're fucked.
