Worked at NAVAIR in the 80's and had a foreign exchange student working in my office from Iran. Cute little Persian gal who was the same as the American gals of her age group in attitudes, dress and such. When the overthrow happened she was extremely distraught and feared for her parent's lives as they were tied to the Shah's govt. She was called back to Iran and I never heard what happened to her after that but I imagine it was not good.
