Not sure if this has already been discussed.
The video of the blackout at the Vatican is not a power outage. It is a light filter which is removing about 99% of all reflected light but does leave some visible traces of the original light sources. Was this an operation under the cover of darkness? People and vehicles would be able to move about freely without detection. It just seems really odd that this ran for about 8 hours.
