Graphene is developed with security at its core. and is really minimal. They are both de-googleized. You can use Graphene with the boot loader locked so nobody can easily wipe your phone and it gets automatic updates. You use F-Droid (or Aurora or sdeload) for apps for both. They're both very competent and good if de-googlizing is what you want.
