Imagine that you are defending a beach against an incoming amphibious assault.
You are crouched in a fighting hole, praying, with your rifle by your side.
There are three types of Christians in the fighting holes next to you.
The first kind prays "Lord please save us" until the enemy gets too close and then deserts.
The second kind prays "Lord please save us" over and over again not hearing the Lord reply that He has already saved them if they would just pick up their rifle and fight.
The third kind prays "Lord please save us, and help me to shoot straight."
